The process is focused on developing unique solutions with the client teams in a way where we act as strategic and operational coaches rather than as classic consultants. This co-creation starts within the company but also involves the various stakeholders, starting with future customers.

  • While each client's needs are different, our engagement model typically starts with a discussion of the client's priorities and objectives, agree on operating principles and get a mandate to work with the company.
  • We establish where our client's challenges have been addressed and solved before (with a client outside their own industry sector) and bring the two clients together to share their experience around a focussed agenda. This can take the form of a few hours' workshop or can take place over the course of a number of days. The whole process is arranged, managed and facilitated by OBA. Bringing clients together across industries in this way is what drives innovative solutions to the problems.
  • We use our client network to act as a catalyst in the thinking process - this is the unique value of our business model.
  • We set up carefully selected client teams, usually of high potential junior managers with a strong ability to think outside the box.
  • We set up a structure where these teams are able to work outside the company's dominant logic.
  • We coach these teams to help them generate truly breakthrough and high impact strategies.
  • We help our clients drive these strategies to implementation and make sure that the transition from thinking to doing is a smooth one.
